With so many companies selling commercial furniture, it’s no wonder why Interior Designers are looking for furniture search engines. Not Google, Yahoo or Bing, but search engines that just carry furniture. The furniture industry is a multibillion dollar industry and commercial furniture or contract furniture is at the top of that list. Commercial Interior Designers have been looking for furniture search engine that just focus on the commercial industry for many years.

One day I get an email from one of our friends who is an Interior designer telling me she is tired of looking for commercial furniture online. “It takes a long time to go from website to website looking at different contract furniture company’s website or going to Google images and searching for commercial furniture and instead finding Mickey Mouse chairs.” She told me if I could build something simple that would make it easy for designers to find contract furniture, it would become very popular amongst all designers.

After speaking with several interior designers and furniture reps. I knew I wanted to build a furniture search engine. Helping interior designers would allow me to fill a need.

Furniture companies would have the opportunity to display all of their commercial furniture to interior designers for free. Interior designers would save hours, days and weeks on furniture research time.

After I built this great website I needed feedback from other interior designers besides my wife and her friends. I hired a telemarketer and had him call all the top interior design firms in the country. 90% of the feedback we got from interior designers was positive. The 10% negative feedback we got from interior designers was that we did not have enough furniture.

Shoe string budget is what I had, so social media made the most sense to me. In less than six months I had 90 members.

After I am done with my SEO plan and I have gain top page ranking for mybusca. It should be much easier for interior designers and furniture companies to find mybusca and see the great value a furniture search engine offers them.

Top search engine placement for mybusca is key for the commercial furniture industry to invest their time and resources in listing their furniture with mybusca. Even though mybusca is free, it must generate lots of traffic in order to attract larger contract furniture companies.

I will always be looking to improve mybusca to help interior designers to become more efficient with their furniture research. The only way for us to grow is to have interior designers use mybusca first when it comes to their furniture needs. We know we can grow our content fast.

Interior designers will help develop the new tools mybusca creates. The positive feedback we have received tells us we are moving in the right direction.

The interior design and the commercial furniture industry are both very tight niches. My hope would be to deliver great results for our customers and publisher. Getting great word of mouth from online and offline media and have that word of mouth spread like wild fire will help us grow. Since our focus is on delivering great results for our interior designers and new leads to the furniture industry. We feel natural that will produce great results for mybusca. If this works well for mybusca we will probably start a residential furniture search engine next few years.
