Tokyo, Sydney tilt lower early on; commodity shares fall November 12th, 2008 HONG KONG (MarketWatch) — Asian stocks were lower in early trading Thursday, wtih commodity-related stocks leading the action to the downside, following further declines in crude-oil prices overnight, while Japanese export-related stocks were also weaker after the yen strengthened relative to the U.S.
