Reviewing the Samsung UE46B8000 TV

The sleek design, with its black casing and crystal border, make the Samsung UE46B8000 a very up-to-the-minute looking TV set. This LCD HDTV is one of two television sets in the Samsung B8000 series, both of which are very high-end models. When mounted on its stand, the slim bezel and clear shaft really add to the chic of the overall appearance. This TV set is wall mount capable as well, only weighing’kg. The UE46B8000 is only 30mm deep and sticks out just 1. 5cm from the wall when mounted.
With its refreshing capabilities being at 200Hz, this being around 4 times faster than standard PAL, this Samsung UE46B8000 is able to maintain sharp images and to eliminate judder. This feature allows for excellent viewing of sports programs and action movies, not to mention better gaming visuals. This Samsung UE46B8000 model uses 2 separate types of technology for backlighting. LEDs are used to illuminate the LCD panel, while the CCFL is behind the panel. The CCFL, or the cold cathode fluorescent lamp, is made of many fluorescent tubes that run behind the panel. The LEDs may be dimmed in order to increase the contrast ratio. Sound quality is sensational, with the Dolby Digital Plus and SRS Trusurround HD features. Gamers will not only appreciate the sound quality of the UE46B8000, but also the game mode feature that allows superb imaging of games. The over all consistency of the picture is amazing, especially in the natural skin tone definition and blending of colour.
