March 2nd, 2010
WORLD WIDE WEB, JANUARY 31, 2010 - West Virginia Writing Services, Americas leader in content generation is proud to announce the debut of their new website home. After an extensive remodel taking into consideration comments made by their users the entire site has been redesigned to make it more attractive, easier to use and more informative. The new site is set to launch officially on February 1st but is accessible now if you don’t mind a little construction going on.
In a recent conversation Mrs. Michele Walls, Founder, Senior Partner and CEO of West Virginia Writing Services spoke on the new site as well as other changes that are in the works at the Racine, West Virginia based firm, “This new site is just one piece of a much larger advancement that we are undertaking in the company, its a very exciting time to be working here. We have new clients, new partners and new contracts coming in that will take us to new heights that honestly 5 years ago I never would have imagined. All I can say is keep an eye out, this new site is just the beginning of a long term plan to bring about a whole new WVWS during 2010.”
Although Mrs. Walls would not comment on the other changes that she alluded too, talk among the staff indicates the possibility that a company move is upcoming, an influx of some new talent both in the creative divisions as well as the executive offices and an expansion of services offered. There is also an excitement in the air about some major deals that are in the works which will not only increase the companies strength but also diversify its industry reach.
Mrs. Walls was all to happy to talk about the new site however pointing out that although on the surface it may appear to not have changed much, the truth is its much faster, easier to use and more secure for the customers placing orders. There is a new portfolio also which showcases some of the best examples of the companies work. These aren’t some puff pieces that were specifically made for the site like you might find on other sites, but copies of real work done for real paying clients. “I am so proud of what is going on here right now. I have the best staff in the world, so creative and bright and vibrant, they love their jobs and it shows in everything that they do, this site is a great example of that.” indeed the most interesting aspect of the new site is the fact that it shows that WVWS is more than just words in their business, the new site was actually built from the ground up internally by the same staff that does the projects that the company has become famous for.
The new site shares the same address as its retired predecessor, visitors are invited to stop by and have a look around and while they are there discover all the advantages that can be had by putting a content generation company to work for you.

Blog SEO in 10 Minutes
November 22nd, 2009
It seems as if everyone has their own blog these days. Companies, music groups, individuals and even peoples pets are the subjects of any number of the millions of new blogs created each month so its no wonder why you might be interested in adding to the mix with your own commentary or point of view. With all the various easy-to-use blogging platforms like Wordpress and Moveable Type the creation of a unique blog has become an easy step for even the most novice internet user. The hard part in creating a blog comes when you’d like the general internet population to start reading your material. You need to create content that is not only interesting but also a reason to entice users to return again and again to see your site updates.
Content, Content, Content. It’s the reason why people are visiting your site and the way you’ll make sure they’ll keep coming back for more. While the content of your blog is critical, the keywords you focus on is just as important. You need to determine what your blog will be all about. To do this I’d recommend you start a list of keywords to focus on. This can be thought of as a list of topics or themes that you’d like people to associate your blog with. Once you’ve created this list, now you need to fill your site with content that uses your keywords and provides interesting material based on whatever topic/theme you’ve chosen. It’s best to try and stick with only one or two keywords to focus each article on, otherwise you run the risk of confusing the reader as well as search engines which will be trying to determine the topic of each webpage for cataloging in their search results.
Facebook, Twitter and Myspace are just a few of the popular social networking sites that you can use for free to increase your new blogs exposure. They’ve managed to become hubs to millions of users who interact on a daily-basis with other members on just about every subject known to man. Not only that but there are new social networking sites sprouting up each day to serve as a meeting place for specific topics or groups. To expand your reach by using these sites, first create a public profile, remembering to add a link to your blog as your ‘homepage’ or ‘personal URL’ and then do a search for topics discussed in your blog. Once you’ve found users, groups or topics similar to your own, try to engage participating members in a discussion furthering the subject matter and if possible adding an eventual link back to your blog for them to continue the conversation (or to view similar media that you’ve posted to your blog). Don’t link-spam though, this is the act of hammering discussions or threads with links for self-promotion. The general rule of thumb is: If you can’t add something positive to the conversation, stay out of it. Another tactic to increase traffic to your blog is to get listed in the various blog directories that are available on the web. These directories can be found pretty easily by performing a search for blog directories + “subject-matter.” For instance i’d search for (removing the quotes though) “blogging directories + seo” for SEO related directories.
Try to think outside the box on this one by going beyond electronic media. Apart from online marketing you can also go for offline marketing by way of newspapers, magazines, journals, yellow pages. This is another medium to increase traffic to your blog. Another tactic is to offer free downloads. This is another new and most popular thing which is found these days on almost every site. Put interesting software such as freeware, demo etc and let the visitors download them for free. Like this you can attract visitors and influence there curiosity to visit your blog for some interesting and new downloadable software’s.
So now that you’ve created your blog you need to get it listed in Google and Yahoo. The easiest way to do this is to ‘ping’ each search engine with a link to your new post or content. If you’ve using a blogging platform like Wordpress then this step is already done for you every time that you update or add a new blog post. If you’re interested in manually pinging these search portals or if you’re using a self-hosted Wordpress blog or other software you can easily accomplish this by using a free blog ping tool like the PingNinja or Ping-o-matic. Both are free and very easy to use. If you do choose to manually ping your new blog post, make sure to not overdo it. Sending a ping announcing your new webpage content once is more than enough, as most of these ping servers share data about recently updates sites and hammering any of these services with the same link won’t speed up the process.
Want to get your blog indexed in search engines faster? Try using a free online blog ping tool like PingNinja.com

Learn To Write A Good Article
October 5th, 2009
What’s next after setting up a website? Obviously, it is to constantly update it with some exciting information that keeps people coming back in order to increase the number of visitors each day. To achieve that, here are some tips I have came up with that leads to a good piece of article.
1. Be clear with what you are trying to say. It is important that you have enough knowledge about your subject matter because you may happen to have all the exclusive knowledge that people may not know and that is what attracts them. If you are just an amateur, it’s best for you to do more research before generating an article. You may also find it useful to ask an expert for his opinions.
2. Write only about what you’re interested in! Readers can easily sense your enthusiasm and be attracted to your writing especially if you have a great interest in your topic because as a result, you may be able to include more exclusive information as well as some personal experiences which creates a more realistic picture. Other than successful experiences, you may also include some failures that you have came across for readers to take references.
3. You must explain your writing intent well. Do this is the very first paragraph of each article you write and let the reader have an overall picture of what they are about to read. This act as a guideline and makes it easier for reader to follow. State in that paragraph whether they will be expecting an explanation, or solutions to a problem. Readers can then decide for themselves if they prefer to read on or leave the site.
4. Solve the questions that you have raised. It is important that you solve all the enquiries that you have brought up in the first paragraph. For example, if you are writing about working at home, you should be prepared to provide a rough progressive plan for your readers to follow. Remember to explain clearly on each step in your plan.
5. Write about a specific topic with plentiful information. If you cannot do so, you readers may not understand what the article is about and end up with questions. With precise and informative articles, your readers will believe in you and get back to your website to see if there is any updated information.
6. Segment your article into different parts. You should include short sentences but not long paragraphs. In order to help your readers scan the article and summarize the information provided, it is effective to add bullet or numbered points for important information.
All the tips mentioned will help you produce better articles for your site. Follow them closely and you are guaranteed to see the target visitor number increases as time goes by. The tips also help with search engine results, which means even more people will get to know what sort of great articles you have been writing. So start typing and bear those tips in mind.
