The Origins Of Brent Crude Oil

North Sea Brent Crude was originially discovered in the early part of the 1960’s and is refined and consumed by; the UK, Norway, Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Brent Crude is a form of crude oil of which there are a number of different types. In the North Sea these include; Brent Crude, Sweet Crude, Brent Light, Ecofisk, Forties, and Oseberg. Brent Crude is the biggest of the family of North Sea crudes and its names originates from the bird the ‘Brent Goose’. In 1971 Shell discovered a huge oil field off the North East of Shetland. Their policy was to name all oil fields after birds. The particular crude that the Brent field produced was therefore named ‘Brent’ Crude.

Other renowned classifications of crude oil include Dubai Crude, and West Texas Intermediate (WTI), which is a light and sweet form of crude oil. Crude Oil is considered ’sweet’ if contains less than 0.5% sulphur, if the sulphur content is higher than 0.5% it is considered ’sour’. Crude oil with a low sulphur content is the most coveted form of curde and widely acknowledeged as premium quality. It is most commonly refined into petroelum. North Sea Brent crude is used to price two thirds of the world’s internationally traded supplies.

In the North Sea and around the world the most highly prized form of oil is ‘Light-sweet’ crude, as it is the easiest to refine into gasoline, kerosene and high quality diesel.

The term ‘Sweet’ came about in the Nineteenth century. In those days the early prospectors tasted and smelt small quantities of the oil to determine its quality. The ’sweetness’ of the crude oil is in reference to the low levels of sulphur found in it which makes the oil taste mildly sweet with a pleasant smell. This term has remained ever since.

Is It True, Run A Car On Water?

So have you seen the claims out there already, there are many on the internet that you can find. But can you really run your car on water? It’s something that many people will think isn’t true, because of all the false things they have found.

But there is actually some realism to this type of method. You just need to watch out for the scams when you’re looking around for information. There will be two scams that you will find about water and your car on the internet.

First will be the scammer who knows the offer they are making isn’t real, they will only lie about it. The second will be someone who really isn’t aware of all the right information and will not place true facts. Though they may actually believe they are offering you the right things.

It’s a shame that so many people had to taint the claim of running a car on water. Because you can but again it will never be completely water that will run your car. It’s a mixture of water and gas that can allow you to run the car.

If you’ve seen an add that states you can use 100% water to run your car, move on. Because it is nothing more than a scam. It’s simply not possible when you look at the rules set in place by thermodynamics.

Though with the use of basic electrolysis it has been accomplished to run a car on water and gasoline together. What happens is your water will get electrolyzed by a current that will be sent through one of the things in your car, a battery or alternator. When it becomes heated and electrolyzed it will then turn into HHO gas.

As the HHO gas is pushed or pulled into the car’s intake system, it will mix and burn with that gas. Since you have the mixture now, you will not be using the same amount of gas you normally would. Plus it will also lead to higher gas mileage, and lower emissions.

Also less emissions will be sent out from your car, because with the HHO gas being burned along with that gas, its much cleaner. What will be emitted instead will be some water vapor.

Back in the 60s, a method was even patented that was for creating that HHO gas. It was done by William A. Rhodes. Then in the 70’s another patent was requested by Yull Brown for something very close to Rhodes’s idea. These methods are both used in welding and have been for years.

Over the years the name has been termed Hydrogen fuel injection, and has now gotten the endorsement of the National Hydrogen Association. Some car manufacturers have been testing the method on new models, and the results are positive.

Look for the true statements about running a car on water, know the facts. You won’t be taken for a scam when you know the right information about this type of technology.
