About Nike Golf Shoes
August 22nd, 2009
Nike golf shoes are one of the things you can use to improve your game. If you have only played golf in casual footwear before, or if you’re looking for a way to improve your general game, buying a good pair of golf shoes can make a large difference. Like in other sports, the shoes you wear can directly impact on your game.
As you have to develop a smooth swing and be able to follow through on that swing in golf, all without losing any control of the strength in your stroke, your golf shoes can assist or hinder your game for you. Nike golf shoes have been designed to help you balance, gripping the turf as much as necessary yet allowing you to put full strength and control behind each and every swing.
Since these golf shoes have special compartments in the heels, every step is easier and lighter to make. They put a spring in your step and yet offer the level of support your feet, legs and knees need in order to enjoy playing your game of golf very comfortably for long periods of time.
Because golf usually involves a lot of walking, Nike golf shoes have been constructed as a blend of walking shoe and golf shoe. Each step you take cushions your legs and knees against impact, allowing you to concentrate your strength and effort on your game of golf, rather than how to make your way to the next hole or to wherever your ball has landed.
When you go to buy Nike golf shoes, there are several things that you should keep in mind. The first thing you need to consider is what level of skill you have achieved. Golf, like many other sports, has apparel that can be used by novices or advanced professionals alike.
In many cases, beginners pick Nike golf shoes made for professionals, but never end up getting the full potential of the shoe, as they are not certain how they can best be used.
While professionals can get great use out of these Nike golf shoes, it is often better for beginners to purchase an entry level golf shoe that would better suit their needs. The increase in power afforded to your stroke would often be lost on those who are novices, as they do not yet have the skill to control the stroke as they need to.
Therefore, it is better to buy Nike golf shoes that fit your level of skill, as these shoes will have the comfort and features you need. You can purchase Nike golf shoes from a variety of sources. For those who want cheaper shoes yet still require the quality of the professional shoes, you can buy last year’s shoes from Nike outlet centers.
If you want only top of the line shoes, you can purchase from online Nike stockists or through a variety of online and local retail vendors (see below).

Weight Loss With Resveratrol
August 22nd, 2009
Resveratrol has now been featured in many places including the media and a variety of other sources, as well.
Even television shows are picking up on this great discovery and it has been prominently featured on shows like Oprah because of the great benefits.
Resveratrol was first investigated on television about 17 years ago on the show, 60 Minutes, where it was looked into why the French were able to stay so thin despite a diet high in foods like cheese. Red wine, in particular, was shown to show a very large role. As it has been found today, red wine is a huge source of resveratrol.
Scientific studies also have proved this. For example, in one study, two mice were raised with the same high carb diet except one was given a resveratrol supplement while the other one did not receive such supplement.
After a while, the weights of the two mice were taken and it was found that the mouse that had gotten the resveratrol supplement was 30% thinner than the other mouse despite having the same lifestyle and diet!
Interestingly, our bodies only absorb about 40-50% of the nutrients that are contained inside the foods that we consume. The excess components then remain in the body sometimes in fat tissues or other places for years at a time. These are considered toxic.
Resveratrol is a very strong anti-oxidant and is able to go in and destroy these toxins so that they do not damage our bodies. Even if you only use resveratrol for a little bit, you can receive many benefits.
So, if you want to get the great benefits from resveratrol, I recommend trying out a resveratrol supplement like Resveratrol Ultra. Resveratrol Ultra is even being offered for a free trial now so that you can try it and see the results for yourself before having to spend any money.

Screenshots from Halo 3
August 21st, 2009
When a video game series is as wildly popular as the Halo series, which includes Halo 3, of course, then it’s bound to result in there being many screenshots available. This piece concentrates on some of the weird and wild Halo 3 screenshots.
Before we get on to the Halo 3 screenshots specifically, let’s take a look at the figures that create all of this media. Over 9 million copies of Halo 3 have been sold to date. That means that if every person who purchased the game plays for only 10 hours, there are more than 90 million hours of game time from which to select screenshots. A lot can happen in 90 million hours, and with all the image-uploading websites online, a lot of it has been documented.
One of the things in Halo 3 that has frequently been copied in Halo 3 screenshots is what Master Chief looks like or more specifically, what his face looks like. If you use Google to look up the top 10 Halo 3 screenshots, you’ll find a picture of Master Chief lying dead on the ground, clearly not revealing a face inside his helmet. This explains why we never see his face, say many players, because he does not actually have one.
Another one of the top Halo 3 screenshots showing in the 10 most popular Halo 3 screenshots is the one of a Marine getting hammered on a floodgate. Someone said that it looked a little bit like Han Solo when he was frozen in Carbonite. And guess what? - they’re absolutely right.
The makers of Halo 3 wanted to make it a lot easier for people to take Halo 3 screenshots and to post them on the Internet. To achieve this, they created a ‘Saved Films’ feature in the game. This feature allows people to slow down the action, or even to freeze it, change the camera angles and even move the camera around to get exactly the screenshot they would like to see. Generally speaking, the ‘Save Films’ feature records all the action that occurs in the game, so it can later be turned into videos are screenshots.
Yet another feature that has a little bit to do with Halo 3 screenshots in the ‘Save Films’ feature, is the watching of previously saved films. You see, the saves are not just images or video, they’re actual game data. This means two things: A] the file size is pretty small and B] the entire game can be watched from different viewpoints on the Xbox 360.
This means to say that a player can replay a game again and again, seeing new things in new places every time they look at it. That’s a lot better than simple Halo 3 screenshots.

Hand Held Bug Zapper
August 21st, 2009
If you aren’t already acquainted with the hand held bug zapper, you are really going to like it and if you have had one before, I’m sure you’ll welcome it back like an old pal! The handheld insect killer does just what it says it does: it zaps bugs. But it does it really, very effectively.
Any bug that comes into contact with the electronic insect killer is fried. Smaller bugs like gnats and mosquitoes are disintegrated with a very satisfying flash and a crack. Larger bug, like house flies and wasps die, but don’t explode like the smaller ones.
Just how many times have these flying bugs taken the edge off an otherwise lovely evening in the garden? Or how many times have you not been able to get a good night’s sleep, because you know there’s at least one mosquito in the bedroom. It has happened to me dozens and dozens of times, I know! It is very satisfying to get one’s revenge with the hand held insect killer.
I don’t like killing things unnecessarily - I’m married to a Buddhist- but mosquitoes? I’m sorry, they have to go. And the electric bug killer dispatches them without any messing about. No waiting and hoping they’ll fly into the ultraviolet light and then into the mesh. No, one swish of the hand held bug zapper and the mosie’s gone and you can hear whether you killed her or not. (I say her, because the sucking mosquitoes always are females - honest, I wasn’t being sexist).
There are two basic sorts of electric bug zapper. There’s the battery operated bug zapper and the rechargeable electric bug zapper. Both work on the same principle, but I prefer the rechargeable kind, although I guess you could use rechargeable batteries too. (I bet they would be more expensive that the bug zapper in the first place). Anyway, I have been using a hand held insect zapper of the rechargeable sort for five years and I am ecstatic about them.
These days, I spend a great deal of time in northern Thailand with my wife, so you can bet your bottom dollar that my hand held insect zapper gets a good work-out almost every night. We usually eat in the garden in the evening and all socializing is done outside by tradition, especially in the rural areas, where we live, so it comes in very handy. I also use my handheld bug killer to ’sweep’ the bedroom for bugs before we go to sleep at night, just like a secret agent.
The handheld bug killer just gets better and better every time I buy one, which makes it hard to give you definite specifications. The electronic bug zappers I used four or five years ago, often failed within 6-9 months of purchase, although their ability to hold a charge reduced a lot after 4-5 months.
However, the latest electronic bug killer will easily last 9-12 months and still be formidable after nine months. My newest model even has a strong torch called a headlamp incorporated into it. I’m not certain what it’s supposed to be for, but if you think that vengeance is sweet, you can attract mosquitoes with it and then zap them with your handheld bug killer.
