What Does Sleep Disorders Do?

March 8th, 2009

by Anne Durrel

Sleep Disorders occur when the standard sleep cycle is interrupted. Ultimately, there are two sleep types. The first is referred to as “Rapid Eye Movement”, or “REM”. The second is referred to as “Non-Rapid Eye Movement”, or “NREM”. REM sleep occurs at the initial phases of the sleep cycle.

As time progresses, we enter the NREM sleep, which involves four different phases. This is usually the kind of sleep that one experiences sleep disorders.

When an individual experiences a disorder that is related to the sleep, it means that they are unable to progress through the normal stages that occur. Here, we will take a glance at sleep disorders.

When a doctor is used to check sleep disorders, there are some different patterns that are evaluated to detect if a problem exists. First, they will check whether one could fall asleep easily. Then, they will take a decision if the person experiences interruptions to sleep, and last, they will determine if the individual wakes up too early and/or too late with accompanying signs, such as feeling tired, irritability, plus other types of symptoms of sleep disorders.

Once these criterions are accomplished, the doctor will then check the individual more intently, by way of a sleep journal or even a sleep disorders study, to take a decision which type of the many sleep disorders exists so that therapy can be determined and administered.

Windows Defender Error: 0×8024402c I am working on a Vista machine for a client, and was trying to update things - the firewall was turned off, windows update hadn’t been run in a while, etc.  Windows Defender was complaining about not updating for the last 8 months, and currently giving me an error of 0×8024402c.  I searched around on the internet, and found people talking about uninstalling defender, restarted the BITS service, running windows update manually, etc.  None of that worked -
