When you first purchase your Xbox 360 console, everything you require it included in the package, such as, a controller, cables, and etcetera. Of course this means you can go right ahead and start gaming without any delays. Of course, if you were fortunate enough to purchase the Xbox 360 Elite, then you were no doubt even more thrilled because it would have come with a few extras, such as some great games. All you needed was a TV, and of course, if you have an HDTV then your gaining experience will be that much more pleasurable.
While a TV is essential, it’s certainly not the only accessory you’ll need in order to take your gaming experience to the next level, because there are also many other Xbox 360 accessories available. Is Your Mobile Phone a Fashion Statement?

If you haven’t noticed, a lot of people seem to be more interested in the look of their mobile phones more so than the actual quality and calling plan. It seems as if the sim free mobile phone along with all of the others are becoming popular for what they look like, and not what they have to offer. You will also notice that a lot of the younger females are sporting pink mobile phones for fashion and style, not for what they should actually be used for.
We live in an era where fashion is ruler over all. If you are not up to date with the latest styles, you risk the possibility of being looked down upon in society. It is sad, but a lot of people feel as if looks are what it is all about. And when it comes to mobile phones, all the more. You will find that people are purchasing phones that are bit inconvenient when it comes to use, but look fantastic when it comes to appearance. Take for instance the new slim design phones. They come equipped with a camera, games, and internet. They are compact and can easily be stored almost anywhere. But the downside is the use of the keyboard and the probability that it could easily break. But obviously, people are no longer concerned with those aspects.
If you were honest with yourself, the chances are, you’d admit that when you last went and bought a mobile phone, the looks played an extremely important role, followed next by the various fancy features such as internet capability, camera, games and etc.
Now, don’t get me wrong because there’s nothing wrong in wanting a phone that has all these handy features. Instead, all I’m saying is, you should be prepared to invest a little more time in determining a phone’s quality before arriving at a decision that most of the latest phones don’t come cheap. This is especially true if you’re one of the millions who replace their phones on a yearly basis, or those who buy a new phone every few months. Hell, that’s a lot of money to be dishing out simply so you can have a new fashion accessory.
Even if all we ever do is call our friends and family, a sim free mobile phone is still a necessity. So don’t be afraid to take some time to learn about all of the great features that your mobile phone has to offer. You might end up pleasantly surprised at what is beneath all of those good looks!

Maintenance Tips for the Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 is quite an expensive system and the expenses don’t even include the individual games and accessories. But once you start playing your favorite games, you might have the tendency to forget just how expensive your Xbox 360 really is until it finally breaks down. A lot of the breakdown issues can be resolved if your system is still under warranty, but the time wasted may cost you some gaming experience. It becomes even worse when you have to spend money on repairs or possibly even replacing your system entirely.
Xbox 360 systems are different than standard gaming desktops because they do not have as much cooling features as the gaming systems. Heat is your major enemy here and heat can produce really quickly after several hours of gaming. But you can prolong the life of your Xbox 360 if you follow these basic Xbox 360 maintenance tips.
Perhaps the most important tip of all, is that you limit your gaming hours. Having said that, if you spend most of your time playing Xbox Live Arcade games, excessive heat probably won’t be much of an issue. This is simply because those games don’t take advantage of the Xbox 360’s phenomenal power. On the other hand, high definition 3D games place a heavy demand on the system and ideally one should take regular breaks, even if only for half an hour at a time.
If you simply cannot bear to take a break then you need to ensure that you play in an area which is relatively cool, such as in an air conditioned room. If you are unable to install an air conditioner then you should at least make sure you have an electric fan blowing cool air over the system in order to prevent it from overheating.
Even during those rare moments when you have your system turned off, you should still make sure that your Xbox 360 is not exposed to excessive dust or direct sunlight, in order to ensure that the next time you sit down for gaming session you won’t be interrupted by any red ring errors. Furthermore it is pointless to turn on your Xbox 360 in the event that it is already warm due to a high room temperature.
There are a few 3rd party accessories that claim to fix the heating problems by cooling the components in a more direct fashion. While these “cooling accessories” appear to fix the problem, they also obtain their power source directly from the Xbox 360 so if you overuse these accessories, problems may arise including red ring issues. Avoid using these accessories unless you find one that is licensed by Microsoft or uses an external power source.
While you may be skeptical taking your Xbox 360 with you when you travel, you can do so providing you take suitable care of it. For example, you should always avoid carrying the Xbox 360 in an upright position unless of course you’re using a dedicated Xbox 360 carry case. While these cases are certainly a safer, better option, you should still take the necessary precautions to make sure that the case is properly secured.
The latest Xbox 360 systems are less likely to cause red ring errors because of their updated motherboards, but you should still take good care of your system nevertheless. This will let you game whenever you need to without interruptions.
